Nam Marabu Series 2 (2025)

In its second 2025 edition, the Nam Marabu series featured Indian folk art veteran Kannan Kumar Nellai Manikandan, known for his expertise in Oyilattam, Thappattam, Karagam, and Silambam. He was also the master choreographer for Namma Ooru Thiruvizha - Chennai Sangamam in 2023 and 2024. From March 26 to March 30th 2025, he introduced the fading dance form Devarattam to Singapore through engaging workshops aimed at preservation, community collaboration, and cultural education. His interactive teaching style and deep knowledge left a lasting impact, with participants expressing strong interest in future sessions. Nearly 200 attendees were engaged, including students from primary till pre-tertiary levels, seniors, members of public of different races, and trained artistes.
