Anandha Traditional Arts and Music Ltd (ATAM) is a non-profit organisation set up in November 2023. It is dedicated to celebrating traditional folk arts with a special focus on Indian cultural heritage in Singapore. We believe that traditional arts are living expressions that bring people together, strengthening community bonds and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
ATAM is devoted not just to performance, but to the living, breathing transmission of culture - ensuring traditional knowledge is honoured and shared across generations and communities.

Our flagship annual event, Anandha Kondaattam, is a vibrant celebration showcasing Indian folk music, dance, and storytelling. This major festival attracts audiences and artists locally and internationally, fostering a rich cultural dialogue and communal celebration.
This ongoing series celebrates and documents traditional folk practices, promoting cultural roots through workshops, talks, and artist features - bringing heritage alive and accessible to all communities.
We curate festive gatherings spotlighting traditional folk arts, enabling creative exchange and collaboration between local and international artists, and engaging diverse community groups.
ATAM supports artists and arts groups with opportunities to learn, share, and grow, reinforcing sustainable folk art practices and their relevance in contemporary society.
We are building a comprehensive digital archive to safeguard traditional artists' work and knowledge, ensuring these cultural treasures endure for generations.
We champion initiatives to protect traditional artists’ rights and their cultural expressions, respecting their contributions and creativity.
